Supra Paris is a cave à vins in the 20e arrondissement of Paris. The owner brings the wines over directly from Georgia, with all regions represented.

I worked in the kitchen, where produce is seasonal and organic. Walnuts are cracked by hand, pickles are made in-house, the cheese comes from a Georgian woman making sulguni in the banlieus of Paris.

Winemakers visited often to introduce their wines to the French public and educated about their seemingly exotic wares. Tavkveri, rkatsiteli, dzelshavi, mts'vane, and ojaleshi.. the difficult names of wines which can be just as challenging.
